Your guide will help set up your lines and provide instructions and tips on how to catch your fish.
At returning to the wharf, your guide will clean, fillet and bag your catch; all the hard work is done. Watch and learn how to fillet Codfish.

Couple nice fish in the morning
There's no better way to view picturesque Sunnyside than on the water. Take in the sites as we boat around the bay. There are many wharves and colorful stages to see. As well as the teepee erected on Frenchmans Island. As we head out further you'll see where the oil rigs were built at the Bull Arm Fabrication Site.
There are usually many species of birds in the area including Bald Eagles. You'll see Center Hill, red sandy beaches and cliffs.
Opportunities to view aquatic life such as whales, seals, jellyfish and sun fish.
These are just a few of the fantastic sites that you will find on your excursion.
Tours can be morning, afternoon or evening 7 days a week. Weather conditions may cancel or delay a tour. Tours run from May 24th weekend until Thanksgiving weekend.
Beautiful calm day on the water
Hiking has become very popular in the province with a vast number of trails to choose from.
Sunnyside is no exception. We have 3 trails in town, with varying difficulties.
Center Hill Trail - 10k in and out. Approximately 4hrs. Ranging from easy to difficult. The last 800 meters are a more difficult climb.
One of our most popular attractions. It boasts the highest point in Eastern Newfoundland. At 457 meters high (1500ft) it holds views to astound.
You don't want to forget your camera!
From the top you can see Trinity Bay, Placentia Bay and Conception Bay. As well there are many opportunities for that perfect photo along the way. With ponds, streams and a hidden swimming hole with a beautiful waterfall.
Truce Sound Trail - 3kms in and out. Approximately 2hrs. Ranging from easy to moderate. There are a couple hills and stairs to climb.
A short hike through the forest following the coastline, (1.5-km each way) takes you to Frenchmen's Island. Where an historic meeting between English and Beothuk took place in 1612. The Peace Garden was built to commemorate this occasion in 2012, and a teepee was erected. The island was also used by French troops to hold English prisoners during the Winter War of 1696 - 1697.
Harbour View Trail - 3.5kms one way. Parking available at either end. Ranging from easy to moderate. There are a couple of hills to climb.
This is the newest trail in Sunnyside. Construction was done in 2021 with a few improvements done in 2022.
This trail can be completed either by hiking or ATV. There are a couple scenic rest areas along the way, with stunning views of the harbor (sunsets are a must see from here).
